This guide will show you how to use the eLearning website to search and browse through Lessons. You can then either view these Lessons in your web browser, or download them to use later.
There are three ways to find lessons:
Click the Core Curriculum link on the navigation bar to browse your Core Curriculum Lessons. These Lessons are set by your Local Music Authority, and cover aspects of your education curriculum.
Here you can browse through the available Lessons. Click on a category to show the Lessons that it contains. Available Lessons are displayed on the left-hand side of the screen – click on a Lesson title for more information. To view a Lesson in your web browser, click the "Preview Lesson" button beneath the Lesson description.
You can use the Search box at the top right of the screen to search both Lessons and Resources. Enter your search term and click "Search". On the results page, select "Lessons" from the drop-down box beneath the search field and click "Search" again to find only Lessons.
Click on a Lesson Title to view more information, or click "Preview" to view it in your web browser.
Inspira provides you with full-term teaching resources and lesson plans for instrumental and vocal teaching. To view inspira Lessons, click the inspira link at the top of the screen.
Inspira Lessons are organised by instrument and term. To view individual lessons, click the "Downloads" drop-down box and select the week that you require. You can then either view this Lesson in your Browser, or download it for use later with the Lesson Viewer.
You can view lesson content grouped into related modules for particular age ranges, instruments and subject areas. These modules are the same as those that are included on the Charanga Music DVDs. To begin browsing, click the modules link at the top of the page.
Use the menu on the left-hand side of the screen to navigate to the module that you wish to view. Click the button marked launch this module to view module content.
